As I mentioned in my last post, I’m a newbie when it comes to baking with figs. Recipes with fresh figs on Pinterest always catch my eye because they are absolutely beautiful! However, I wasn’t sure what to do with all of the figs once I actually bought some. After looking up quite a few recipes, I used most of them for these fig bars, which unfortunately did not turn out well. The graham cracker crust and cream cheese frosting were good, but I think the fig layer needs some work. I thought the photos were pretty, so I still wanted to share, but obviously I’m not going to share a crappy recipe with you. Instead I’ve rounded up 15 recipes made with fresh figs that look AMAZING! If I had more figs I’d give them a try, but we don’t have the best selection of fresh produce here in Destin (hence the TJ’s trip in Tallahassee). If you do give any a try let me know what you think in the comments or on Instagram!
