I thought it would be difficult to get into the Christmas spirit since we live by the beach and still have 70-degree days every now and then, but I’m pleasantly surprised by how festive these beachside towns are! Last weekend Rob and I finally checked out the 30A Christmas decorations. For those of you who aren’t familiar with 30A, it’s a road in Florida where you’ll find a stretch of several small beach towns. It’s quite the tourist destination in the summer and has a great selection of beaches, restaurants, shops and hotels. We started in Seaside, which is always adorable, so I knew the holiday decorations would be beautiful! The little post office was decked out with garland and ornaments, there were a few big trees set up and all of the shops had festive window displays. They were having an outdoor concert that day, too, so it was very lively and bustling!
Next up was Alys Beach! All of the buildings in this community are white and have a modern, yet beachy vibe. Basically every nook and cranny is Instagram worthy! I especially love the local coffeeshop, Fonville Press because the drinks are great and the atmosphere is really cool. I like how they kept their Christmas decorations in line with the town’s minimalist aesthetic. The classic wreaths and Santa sticking out of the chimney add a fun touch, but still look high-end!
Lastly we stopped by Rosemary Beach where the main street reminds me of something that would be in Europe. It’s so charming and lined with cute cafes and shops. They also have a farmers market every Sunday that I like to go to. On this excursion Rob and I went to La Crema for dessert and ordered the peanut butter chocolate molten cake and is was AMAZING! It was rich, decadent and reminded me of a chocolate soup! Half of their menu is made up of savory tapas while the other half is an amazing selection of chocolate desserts. We will definitely be back for more! Even though summer is the busiest time of year in 30A, I enjoy it even more in the winter! It’s nice to walk around without the crowds and without being hot and sweaty! I’m slowly putting together all of my 30A recommendations, so stay tuned for that in 2018 :)

This place is sooo pretty! Will definitely add this to my bucket list of places to visit.

I just love that you talked about one of my favorite places to go on your blog! We often visit Panama City and have slowly started easing our way down to the 30A. We actually have a good friend that owns a sandwich shop in Santa Rosa beach so we always love to come visit with him. If you’re ever in that area try out South of Philly!
