If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that I’m all about neutrals. Even though my closet is comprised of mostly blush, olive, white, cognac and grey, I still like to add a pop of bright color every now and then. The easiest way to do this is with subtle details and accessories. Instead of just throwing on a dress that has a loud, bright print, I opt for pieces that have some colorful embroidery, tassels or pom poms. I don’t think I have a single piece of red in my closet, but the embroidery on this soft, textured top is a fun way to mix it into my wardrobe. It’s really versatile and can be styled with white jeans for a white-on-white look or paired with denim shorts for a patriotic look. The tassels on these sandals also add a pop of color to an otherwise simple outfit. They are really comfortable and surprisingly versatile. When you have a closet full of basics and neutrals it’s easy to mix in a trendy or colorful piece.
