This past weekend I was in Palm Springs for my best friend’s bachelorette party, which was so much fun! There were 15 people in the group, so we rented an Airbnb and spent most of the time by the pool. We did venture out of the house though for brunch, dinner and dancing. Palm Springs is such a fun city to explore. I love all of the cool cacti, mid-century modern architecture and colorful décor (I’ll be sharing more in this week’s YouTube video, so stay tuned!). The relaxed, casual atmosphere is exactly what we wanted for this girls’ trip. I definitely over packed for the weekend considering I wore my swimsuit for the majority of the day, but I always like to have plenty of options! Plus I drove from Las Vegas, so space wasn’t an issue—gotta take advantage of that! On our “going out” night I wore this dress, but I kind of regret not packing this romper, too. I love that it can be dressed up and has the trendy one-shoulder style. It’s from Tobi (their affordable romper selection is on point!) and I would suggest ordering up a size. Rompers can be tricky because you don’t want them to give you a wedgie, so I went with a medium and was happy with the fit. It shows a lot of leg, so I like that the neckline and sleeve are more conservative. The blush color pairs really well with brown/cognac accessories, like my go-to belt. It’s my favorite belt for rompers and dresses because it looks like I did some fancy loop/knot thing, but you actually just thread the end through the ring and hook it onto one of the notches—so simple, but it adds a lot! I think I’ll try styling it with this striped dress next.
