A couple weeks ago was our first wedding anniversary! Rob isn’t the easiest to buy presents for, but I still wanted to get him something sweet and thoughtful. Instead of one expensive gift, I put together a basket of smaller goodies and wrote notes that related to each item. One of his favorite candies is Reese’s Pieces, so I stuck a note on it saying, “I love you to pieces.” I had fun picking out items and thinking of clever sayings (I spent at least an hour in Target!). This gift idea would work well for a birthday, Valentine’s Day or Father’s Day, too. All you need is a basket, some little items he would like and a sticky note to write the messages.
