While we were visiting Rob’s parents in Wyoming we took a drive through the Snowy Range Mountains to see the colorful aspen trees and have a picnic lunch. The leaves were gorgeous, especially when the sun hit them just right. At the peak of the mountain there was a lookout spot that had a pretty view of Colorado (seen in my Friday Five), but it was crazy windy up there. I’m glad I brought this coat because with wind chills it was probably 40 degrees and this Vegas girl isn’t used to those temps! This Barbour jacket was one of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases (it sold out the first day of early access!) and I’m so glad I finally had the chance to wear it! The pink quilted material adds a girly touch, plus the plaid lining is so cute! It’s light enough to wear in the fall, but I think it will also keep you nice and warm in the winter with some layers. Only a few more months until I might need it here in Vegas…
