Happy Friday! I’ve been looking forward to this day for many reasons: (1) my parents are in town, (2) we are going to see Keith Urban tonight and (3) it’s my birthday! I apparently haven’t reached that age yet where you start to dread birthdays because I still love October 21st as much as I did when I was a kid bringing cupcakes to class and opening up American Girl Doll presents! I thought this outfit would be fun to share today because this plaid blouse is tied with a birthday bow! Okay, maybe not a “birthday” bow, but it’s still a pretty cute bow on the back. I also love the bell sleeves and colors in this pattern—my mauve-colored heels match it perfectly! It’s also a fun way to incorporate plaid into your fall wardrobe without just wearing a flannel (which I also love, but sometimes you want to dress up a bit more!). To make it even a little dressier, I added a sparkly statement necklace. I’m considering wearing this again to the concert tonight since it’s a mix between country concert and birthday chic.
