BLANKNYC Suede Moto Jacket Knockoff

One of the items I debated about getting during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was the suede moto jacket by BLANKNYC. If you follow a lot of bloggers then you probably know which one I’m talking about because it seems like EVERYONE bought it. I tried it on and loved the fit, but couldn’t justify spending $125 (now back up to $188) on a jacket since we live in Florida. Even though it will probably be cool enough to wear it for a month of two in the winter, I’d rather spend that money on year-round staples. In the end I’m glad I held off because I found a similar version for wayyyy less at Old Navy recently! The burgundy color is beautiful and I like that it’s somewhat lightweight. It’s normally $59, but they had a sale going on when I bought it which brought it down to about $40—much more reasonable! You could wear it with jeans and a cami like I did in this post, or layer it over a dress with some booties. It’s a very versatile piece and I can’t wait to play around with it more once the temperatures drop!
