Blush is one of my favorite colors when it comes to fashion (as seen here, here and here). I consider it a neutral because it goes with almost any color, especially the olive green, white and denim that make up most of my closet. Recently I wore my favorite vest with a simple black dress for a daytime date with Rob at La Cave (you can see the s’mores flatbread we tried in this post from yesterday!). By adding the vest to a simple black dress and heeled sandals, it instantly looks more thought out and put together. I accessorized the look with a long necklace, my go-to saddle bag and mirrored Ray-Bans. I actually wasn’t planning to wear sunglasses with this outfit, but I was looking squinty in all of the photos because it was so bright out. Since I didn’t bring a pair I borrowed my Instagram husband‘s pair. He’s a good sport ;)
