Champagne Cupcakes with SoBakeable

As a small business owner myself I love when I get the chance to support other female entrepreneurs. When Jocelyn, the co-founder of SoBakeable, reached out to me about trying their baking boxes I knew it would be a great fit for Treats and Trends! They sell a variety of dessert kits, which include the ingredients and decorating supplies you’ll need for the recipe (except refrigerated items and basic kitchen equipment). I tried the Champagne Cupcake Kit and it even came with party decorations like balloons, party horns and a gold glitter circle garland.

The cupcakes themselves have a great flavor and were really moist. I was a little unsure about the champagne flavor tasting too artificial since there isn’t any actual champagne in the recipe, but it was perfectly sweet and delicious! The champagne extract made for a delicious buttercream, too! I like how they suggest piping the frosting so that it looks like champagne bubbles (it’s super easy to do and they have a video tutorial if you need help!).

The pearl-like sprinkles and gold sugar they include in the kit were great additions! How cute would these champagne cupcakes be for a New Year’s Eve party or a birthday/engagement celebration?! I brought them over to a friend’s house for dinner one night and they were a hit! Even my husband couldn’t resist them and he tries to eat healthy thus avoiding the incessant amount of desserts I bake. Overall I was really impressed by the ease and quality of these champagne cupcakes. If you enjoy baking sweet treats without the fuss, definitely give these kits a try!
