Christmas in July... AKA Nordstrom Sale

Yes, I am talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I was born a Nordies girl. Every summer my mom would hire a babysitter on that first Friday of the sale and come back with matching leggings and turtlenecks for my younger sister and I (typical ’90s fashion… so stylish). Once I was old enough to go by myself I loved to hit up opening day. With the excitement of new clothes for a new season and crowds of shoppers that are equally as eager, it’s impossible not to get into the spirit of the sale.

This pair of Halogen heels is my prized possession this year. I love that they look like booties and can be dressed up or down. They are really comfortable, too! I broke them in while working a restaurant grand opening, which might not have been a bright idea. However, after being on my feet for 6 hours I was still able to stand and even wore them again the next day.
