When we were in Belgium I realized waffles can be enjoyed any time of day, not just in the morning! And there are way more toppings than butter, syrup and fruit! Clearly I need to think outside of the box when it comes to my waffle game. Since I had some cinnamon oat waffle mix from Kodiak Cakes, I decided to make a fall-inspired dessert waffle! There really isn’t a recipe for this, you just prepare the batter according to the directions on the box and pour onto your waffle maker. Once they are done, transfer to a plate, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with salted caramel sauce! It’s a delicious flavor combo for fall!
