I think it’s official—I have an addiction to cognac booties. It’s not that I have a lot of them, but they are definitely my most-worn shoe in the fall and winter months. Whether it’s with a floral skirt or white ripped-knee skinny jeans, they are very versatile and stylish. Plus this pair is so comfortable, and only $37! I’ve worn them A TON during the last couple of months as you can see with the following outfit ideas! They fit right into the classic, minimalist wardrobe that I’ve been trying to build. When you have a collection of timeless pieces, it’s easier to come up with on-trend outfits without spending a lot. All you have to do is mix in one trendy piece with the basics you already have, like these booties!
For a casual look, pair your booties with distressed skinnies or boyfriend jeans. I wore these up to Mt. Charleston one afternoon for lunch, which is always a fun break from Las Vegas. You can see the full post and outfit details here.
I love how this pair of cognac booties looks with skirts. The heel helps to make your legs look longer, plus the asymmetrical zipper is really fun. Full outfit details in this post.
These shoes were perfect for walking around Nashville—they were fashionable and functional. I especially love pairing cognac booties with other earth tones, like the ones in this poncho. Here is the full post with outfit details.
While we were in Golden, Colorado (full post and outfit here) I paired them with a floral skirt and cozy sweater. The weather was cool in the morning, but got pretty warm in the afternoon so this combo was perfect.
I also packed these booties for our trip to Wyoming in September. For a classic fall look I paired them with dark skinny jeans, a gingham top and olive-colored utility jacket. And a top knot because I was too lazy to do my hair ;) Here are my tips for styling gingham for fall.
Never put away your white jeans! They can be worn year-round. To give them some fall flair, I styled them with booties and light layers in this post. I also can’t wait to style them with chunky knits and over the knee boots when the weather gets cooler!
This is basically my fall uniform: skinny jeans, cognac booties, white T-shirt and utility jacket or vest. Easy and chic! Full outfit details and my two favorite white tees can be found in this post.
Nothing says fall like a pop of plaid! Switch out a utility jacket for a flannel button-up for a festive look.
Another reason to not retire your white jeans until Memorial Day. I wore them with my Barbour jacket and a chambray shirt while taking a day trip to the mountains in Wyoming. Full look here.
Last but not least, a casual weekend look! I wear my booties with skinny jeans and basic T-shirts a lot. You can get my full outfit details and see how three other Vegas bloggers style jeans and a tee in this post!
