Now that the temps are rising it’s time to break out those denim shorts! I’ve purchased two new pairs this year and have already gotten good use out of them. Blank NYC always has comfortable high-quality denim and their boyfriend shorts are no exception. I really like the darker wash and distressed style, plus they are super soft! Since they are pretty stretchy I went down a size (25 instead of my usual 26 for reference), but if you want the loose boyfriend fit stick with your typical size. They are a great length, lightweight and perfect for everyday wear! The other pair I bought was the One Teaspoon “Bandit” shorts, which fit true to size. I had seen my favorite bloggers wearing them on Instagram and finally decided to get a pair since they always looked so cute! The distressed style is perfect for a casual look and I love how they are higher on the sides, but longer in the back—don’t want to show off too much booty! Or any actually. I’m pretty conservative. This will probably be my go-to pair when we move to Florida since they let your legs breathe. I’m not looking forward to hot, humid days when your clothes stick to you.
