Sometimes I find my job pretty surreal. I mean getting to shoot at the Best Beach in America (as awarded by Dr. Beach in 2020) isn’t a bad day at the office! I recently had the opportunity to photograph this sweet family at Grayton Beach State Park. This is a great location for photoshoots along 30A because you have multiple backgrounds. From the beach and sand dunes to the nature trail and Western Lake, there are a lot of spots to choose from. For this shoot, we focused on the sand dunes with sea oats and pristine coastline. The water was absolutely perfect that day—crystal clear, blue and smooth. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, so we also got some nice golden light at sunset. Here are a few of my favorite photos from this extended family session.
