My beauty routine stays pretty consistent throughout the year, but I like to update my look by mixing in some seasonal products. Fall is all about darker shades and berry hues. These bolder colors can be a little intimidating, but there are also more subtle ways to work them into your makeup collection. Below are a few products that I’ve been loving so far this season and add the perfect amount of fall flair.
As I’ve said before, burgundy and other rich shades of red and purple are the ultimate fall colors. This Sephora eyeliner in Mystic Purple caught my eye while I was looking for my go-to grey shade. I’ve read that this color can accentuate blue eyes, so I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did! It’s subtle, but still shakes up my usual look. I’ll be honest, it doesn’t go on as smoothly as the Urban Decay eyeliner that I swear by, but once it’s on it looks great and really brightens my eyes!
I have really thin hair, so I’m always looking for thickening products that actually make a difference. Whether I air dry my hair and wear it curly or blow dry it and use a curling iron, this Living Proof thickening mousse adds nice body to my hair. And trust me, I need all of the help I can get!
