After we chat about your session goals and details, I’ll send you a custom proposal with the service agreement and invoice. A 50% deposit is due to officially reserve your date. I will also send you a style guide and can help you plan your outfits.

It’s Photo Day!
You just need to show up and I’ll take care of the rest! We’ll start by getting some posed shots and towards the end we’ll let the kids run around, you can wade in the water, etc. so that we can get some playful, candid shots.

I have an entire blog post dedicated to this! You’ll also receive a PDF style guide when you book with me. My biggest tip is to wear outfits that complement each other rather than being too matchy matchy. A coastal color palette is very popular, but I also love warmer/brighter colors like shades of pink—they really pop against the white sand and blue water! I’m also happy to offer wardrobe consultation if you have questions about your particular clothes. I LOVE fashion and styling!
I typically deliver your full gallery within 2 – 3 weeks. If you need it expedited, that can be accommodated for an extra fee ($150 extra to be delivered within 3 days).
If you are staying in Destin, Florida I always recommend Henderson Beach State Park for several reasons. First of all, there is plenty of parking! But my favorite feature is that it offers several backgrounds. There is a nature trail with white sand and greenery, white sand dunes with sea oats, and of course the beautiful beach you know and love!
I will email you a link to your digital gallery with all of the edited images. From there you can download web size or high resolution photos and save them to your computer, phone, etc. You can also share the link with other family members and friends.
For beach photos I shoot the hour prior to sunset or right at sunrise to make sure you have the best possible lighting. However, if you prefer a different time I am happy to accommodate you.
I very rarely need to cancel sessions due to rain. Florida weather is definitely unpredictable, but I keep an eye on the forecast as your session approaches and will work with you to select a different time or day for your shoot if needed. And if it rains non-stop the whole week you’re here, I will refund your deposit.
I edit your photos with my light, airy style and will work some Photoshop magic to get rid of people in the background, a flyaway hair, a bruise on your child’s leg, etc. However, extensive retouching such as getting rid of wrinkles, taking off pounds, etc. will be outsourced for $15 per image.
Yes! You do not need to print them through me (although your gallery will give you the option if you prefer!). Feel free to use them for family photo books, Christmas cards, framing, and personalized gifts!
