Plaid is typically the “it” print for fall, but florals can still look seasonal too! The key to making them work for the cooler months is by finding floral prints that are made up of dark, neutral colors. This dress immediately caught my eye because of the gray and blush tones. It has a soft, romantic color palette that is feminine, yet fall-ish. I paired it with a blush moto jacket to really make those pink/beige hues pop! This shift dress is also appropriate for autumn because of the longer sleeves. If it had skinny straps it might look too summery, but having more material on top balances out the bare legs. Although I wore it with heeled sandals, you could try pairing it with over-the-knee boots or some tights and booties if you live somewhere chillier. Also, you may recognize this purse since it’s basically in every other outfit I post (like this one), but unfortunately the chain strap broke so I had to make it work as a clutch during this shoot. I’m crossing my fingers that my husband can solder it back together!
