As I worked on this “gift ideas for her” post I was basically making my own Christmas wish list. I sent Santa (aka my parents) a nice email saying that I had been a good girl for the 27th year in a row along with the links to a few items. Most of the things I’m hoping to find under the tree are quality basics that I would wear for years to come, but aren’t something I would necessarily treat myself to. Like Hunter boots. They have been popular for 8+ years and I don’t see them going out of style anytime soon, but $150 is a little silly to spend on rain boots when you live in a desert. However, they would really come in handy when we go on trips to the mountains or to visit my family in Seattle. The J.Crew parka below would be a great gift, too. It’s a little on the pricier side, but if you keep a lookout for sales, it’s possible to get around a 30% discount. Plus it’s a classic piece of outerwear that would get a lot of use.
Speaking of well-used items, I received the Vince Camuto ‘Bella’ perfume last year for Christmas and I LOVE how it smells! It has a nice fruity, floral scent that isn’t too overpowering—perfect for everyday wear! I also have the rose gold Nike sneakers that are featured below and they are just as cute in person! I’m obsessed with everything copper and rose gold so I quickly scooped these up and was pleased to find that they are super comfortable.
