I love any excuse to bake a festive dish and the 4th of July is no exception. As I was scrolling through the red, white and blue creations on Pinterest, I came across this recipe from one of my favorite food blogs, Half Baked Harvest. That’s when I decided that these grilled brie, berry and balsamic flatbreads would be this year’s patriotic treat.
First of all, anything with brie cheese is amazing. Add grilled flatbread and seasonal fruit and it’s even more delicious. I was excited to make the grilled flatbread because I’ve never made anything like that before. It was surprisingly easy and the fiery flavor from the grill made all of the difference. It definitely won’t be the last time I make these this summer—they are perfect for barbecues or wine and cheese nights!
Yum!
