I usually stick with booties during the colder months, but I couldn’t wait to wear these flat mules that recently made their way into my shopping bag! Online shopping wins again. I always love when spring shoes start popping up in stores and it looks like this style is going to be huge for the upcoming season. As you know I’m all about neutrals, so I love that this sand-colored pair will go with everything year-round (they also come in three other colors including a pretty light blue and are under $100!). I’m excited to style them with skirts and dresses when the weather warms up, but for now I stuck with skinny jeans and some light layers on top. I love the look of turtleneck sweaters under a moto jacket, but in reality this tends to feel too tight and bulky. The trick to achieving this combo while being able to move your arms/shoulders is to wear a sleeveless style! Obviously this might not be practical if it’s freezing where you live, but here in Las Vegas I’m able to get away with it. You can see how I styled this sweater without a jacket here—it’s a really versatile piece! To balance out the boxier top half, I wore I pair of skinny jeans since they streamline the outfit and show off the backless shoes. What are your thoughts on flat mules?
