Happy Friday, friends! In today’s post I want to update you on my life and what I have planned for Treats and Trends. As I’ve mentioned before, my husband is a pilot in the Air Force so we just moved to Destin, FL for his next assignment. We are currently staying with friends until we move into our house at the end of the month, which has been fun but I’m ready to stop living out of a suitcase. I’m getting antsy to move in so that we can get organized and back into a routine. I mainly can’t wait to have my desk and KitchenAid mixer back! Since I’ve been so focused on the move lately the blog has kind of been put on the back burner. I planned ahead so that I could stick to my Monday – Friday posting schedule, but haven’t been able to put as much effort into engaging with my readers, commenting on other blogs and promoting the posts on social media. To make sure I’m posting high-quality content and not ignoring you guys, I’m going to be posting less frequently. Starting next week I am going to have a new fashion post up every Tuesday and a new recipe post on Thursdays. Obviously this might vary if I have a travel post or another topic to cover, but I’ll do my best to stay consistent! I am so thankful for all of you who read and support my blog, so I owe it to you to share only the best content and give you the attention you deserve :)
You may have also noticed that my Instagram handle changed from treatsandtrends to my actual name, Jamie Kamber. This is because I’m starting my own social media company and want to brand myself as “me” rather than Treats and Trends (the blog is still called Treats and Trends and will have the same kind of content). It’s scary, yet exciting to be starting my own business aside from the blog, but I’m lucky to have an amazing husband supporting me and a unique situation where I would have had to find a new job anyways. Blogging for five years has taught me a lot about business and entrepreneurship, so I’m excited to apply that to another endeavor. One that will allow me to get involved in our new community and do what I love—creating content and sharing it with others! Thanks again for your support!
