Mall of America

Last weekend Rob and I were in Minnesota for a wedding, so of course we had to stop by Mall of America. My expectations were kind of low—I figured it would just have typical mall store and be somewhat scuzzy since millions of people visit it. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, it had many of the same shops as our mall in Vegas, but it also had Nickelodeon Universe in the middle with a variety of quality rides. It was clean and had every store I could ever want in one place!

One of our favorite stops was the Peeps store. We didn’t get the Easter staple, but we did try the dark chocolate-covered marshmallows. It was kind of like a truffle, but with creamy marshmallow in the middle. They also had a huge selection of Mike and Ikes, so Rob put together a bag and snacked on it while I shopped. He was such a great sport! We spent five hours there and he didn’t complain once. I honestly thought I would be the one to get hangry and tired of walking, but it was so much fun and I didn’t want to miss anything!

Also, it didn’t hurt that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was happening! Having looked online earlier, I went right to the sale tents and found just what I was looking for! Luckily Nordstrom ships for free because the shoes would not be able to fit in my weekend carry-on bag! Stay tuned because I’ll be sharing some of my favorite finds and fall trends soon. For now, here are some more pics from our mall trip.
