My 3 Favorite Stores for Activewear

I pretty much live in activewear. Not just because it’s comfortable (okay, mainly), but it also forces me to fit in a workout. Whether I do some squats while I’m waiting for a cake to finish baking or jump rope for a few minutes after running errands, I’m trying to create a more active lifestyle. I’ve been going to the gym 5 or 6 days per week lately and it feels so good to get into shape! Pilates, yoga and kickboxing are my favorite classes and luckily I have a workout-aholic husband who encourages me to go to the gym with him. I’ve actually needed to up my activewear game since I run out of clean clothes before I do laundry on the weekend. Shoot, I have to go shopping?! ;) Below are my three favorite stores for activewear. Just like with all of my clothes, I don’t like to spend a fortune on them so they are budget friendly while still staying stylish.

Old Navy. This is one of my favorite stores for everything (including designer dupes), but their activewear section is always on point. I picked up this sweatshirt recently and love the subtle floral print. Plus the mesh panels are really cute. I also have a pair of their yoga pants, which I love! The high waist is really comfortable and they aren’t see through in the butt. I usually wait until items are on sale before purchasing because they often have discounts that are up to 50%. Also, check the clearance rack—I found a couple of tanks that were only $2 each!

Nordstrom. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I have found this to be true with the activewear at Nordstrom (and it’s still under $100). I got a couple pairs of Zella leggings for Christmas last year and they’re amazing! The high-waisted style is my favorite. They wash up really well and haven’t pilled at all. I also have a pair of Free People yoga pants that are amazingly soft (and cute!). Whenever I’m in need of new sneakers I usually check out Nordstrom, too. I love their selection of Nikes, like the rose gold pair in this post.

I wanted to try a “fun” pose, but obviously that didn’t go so well…

Target. I mean, duh. Did you really think I would talk about my favorite stores and not mention this one?! Target is my go-to spot for sports bras. They have a great selection, hold up well and are very reasonably priced. I’ve also found some great workout tanks to go with them. And while you’re there, why not check out the home decor, clothes, shoes, storage, food, cleaning supplies, etc.? Ugh Target is my weakness! I’m sure many of you can relate.
