I’ve been having a lot of fun shopping lately since I pretty much took a year off while I was pregnant. I didn’t want to spend money on things I would only wear for a short amount of time, plus you’re limited with the bump. These are a few things I’ve treated myself to lately and they’re quickly becoming summer staples!
One-piece swimsuit. Finding a swimsuit that you feel good in after having a baby is hard! It’s not that I’m super self conscious about how I look, it’s mainly finding something that fits these breastfeeding boobies! I’m not used to having them be so large haha. I love how this one piece fits because the wrap-style top makes it adjustable. Plus it has a decent amount of coverage and is flattering! It also comes in ‘long’ sizes, which is great if you have a long torso like me!
Gauzy Beach Short Coverup. I also found a bikini top that fit well, but wanted to find a high-waisted coverup to go with it. These shorts are perfect because they are light and breezy! I also like the stretchy waistband and cute beads on the drawstring. The color will obviously go with everything!
Straw Hat. We are outside a lot during the summer since we live in Florida, so I wanted to find a hat that offered a lot of protection from the sun. The wide brim on this straw hat offers ample shade! I also love the neutral color and style, which make it a great accessory for any outfit.
Leopard Print Sandals. I was on the hunt for comfortable everyday sandals that weren’t too flat (I hate when it feels like there is just a stiff, thin board under your foot), so I was trilled to find these at Target. The sole has some cushion and they’re easy to put on with the velcro straps (rather than laces of buckles). I’m a sucker for cognac colored shoes and this brown leopard print is very versatile!
