The Perfect Lace Dress for Spring Under $50

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a great long weekend! Rob got four days off for the holiday and since I work for myself I had the luxury of taking some extra time off, too. Although let’s be real, I ended up working at least a few hours each day. Checking on social media clients and blogging never really stop. For example we snapped photos of this outfit before meeting friends for dinner at Mezcal on Friday night. Luckily they follow my blog so they didn’t think I was a total self-absorbed weirdo haha. I bought this dress from a local boutique called Ella Grace before Christmas, but it’s been a little too cold to wear it until now. We had temperatures in the mid 70s this weekend and it was amazing! I plan on wearing this lace dress quite often this spring and summer because it’s nice and loose. Tight clothing with hot, humid weather is miserable. I love how girly this dress is with the lace and peplum hem. Plus I couldn’t resist the rust color! It works well with cognac-colored accessories, like my bag and shoes. I also added a pop of olive to this outfit by adding a silk scarf to my purse (you can see another way to style it in this post).

Emmy also had a fun weekend (you can follow me on Instagram to see stories of her)! We took her to one of our favorite breweries near 30A called Idyll Hounds. She loved meeting new people and dogs (including a 90-pound lab!) and I loved my coconut stout—win, win! We also took her swimming for the first time in our friends’ pool. She was hesitant at first, but she got the hang of it pretty quickly! It’s amazing how they just naturally know to start moving their legs when they get into the water. Hopefully we will be able to take her to the beach soon!
