Not to be dramatic, but Pink Coyote Dessert Co. makes the best ice cream. Like, ever. As someone who has a sweet tooth and loves to travel, I’ve tried a lot of ice cream in a lot of places. With the highest quality ingredients and made-from-scratch mix-ins (like cookie chunks, brownie pieces, berry cobbler filling, etc.), their handcrafted ice cream is hard to beat. They have a rotating selection of flavors with everything from tried-and-true favorites (but better) to new, unique flavor combinations.
The original Pink Coyote Dessert Co. is located next to Dewey Destin’s Seafood Restaurant and offers Old Florida vibes with views of the bay (including Crab Island). Grab a sweet treat after your boat day or playing at Captain Leonard Destin Park. There are picnic tables where you can enjoy the view and beautiful sunsets! Keep an eye out for dolphins!
The newest location is in Fort Walton Beach and offers a larger menu plus indoor/outdoor seating. In addition to a cone or bowl, you can enjoy your ice cream as a cookie sundae, affogato, milk shake, dirt cup, or avalanche (ice cream thickly blended with mix-in ingredients). They now serve a variety of beverages, too, including coffee, tea, and Italian cream sodas. Their signature Pink Coyote Latte is made with white mocha and raspberry syrups and topped with whipped cream and pink sprinkles (so cute!). I also liked the Iced Weekend Desperado, which is cold brew coffee with a shot of espresso, sweetened with brown sugar syrup and finished with a dash of milk and caramel drizzle. And don’t forget to grab a baked good or pastry! I highly recommend the cookies.
