Dark Chocolate Peppermint Pretzel Bark

When I visited my family in Seattle last month my mom had a little bag of goodies for me since I wouldn’t be home to open my stocking at Christmas. One of my favorite things was a dark chocolate bark with pretzels and peppermint. The salty, sweet, minty combination is perfect! I shared it with my husband when I got back to Vegas and he also LOVED it, so I decided to make my own dark chocolate peppermint pretzel bark! It only takes three ingredients and hardly any time or skill. All you have to do is line a cookie sheet with some parchment paper, then sprinkle it with some crushed candy canes and peppermint. After that, you’ll melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave and then pour on top of the pretzels and candy canes. You’ll want to use a spatula to create a smooth, even layer. Then top with additional candy canes and pretzels. Ta da! It’s that easy, Plus it’s a great treat for the holidays. You could even wrap it up and give a batch to some friends or neighbors! Just one warning: it’s addicting, so make sure you get rid of it all (aka eat it all) before your New Year’s resolutions start! But I don’t think you’ll have a problem with it sticking around for too long ;)
