  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour two 8″ x 4″ loaf pans, set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, salt and baking powder. In a large bowl mix eggs, canola oil, sugar and milk. Gradually add in the dry ingredients. Stir in poppy seeds, almond extract, vanilla extract and melted butter. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 50 minutes. Cover with foil if the top starts to get too brown. Remove from oven and let cool in pan until it’s set enough to remove and transfer to wire rack.
  3. Once the bread has cooled, mix together the powdered sugar and blood orange juice in a small bowl. Then drizzle on top of the bread. Garnish with thin blood orange slices.
