It’s hard for me to justify spending $90+ on one product unless it’s a staple like jeans or boots. When I first saw this sleeveless jacket or vest—whatever you want to call it—I instantly fell in love. However, instead of making an impulse buy, I went home and thought about what it would go with in my closet. The answer was EVERYTHING! In the store it was styled over a romper similar to this one, and it would also look really cute with skinny jeans or a dress. Maybe even distressed denim shorts?! This is one of those pieces that I can’t wait to wear again and again. For this look I paired the sleeveless jacket with my favorite skinny jeans (I love the ripped knees and high waist!) and a peplum camisole.

To top off the look I added a saddle bag, ankle strap sandals and dangly earrings. When it comes to earrings, I like everything from simple to statement. Studs are my go-to style (if I’m wearing any at all—I’m not the best at accessorizing on a daily basis), but bold, dangly earrings are also fun for a night out. These black and gold earrings from Povery Flats by rian are the perfect middle ground. They are sleek and simple, yet they really catch your eye. Also, I have really sensitive ears and most earrings make them itch after about five minutes of wearing them (even if they say nickel-free), but I wore these all night and was fine!
