The other day I was doing some shopping on my lunch break, making stops at my usual stores: LOFT, Banana Republic and Old Navy. I didn’t find anything and still had some time to kill so I stopped into Abercrombie & Fitch for the first time in years. I had seen some other bloggers post cute outfits from there and talk about how A&F has stepped up it’s game, so I figured I’d check it out. I was pleasantly surprised! No longer is everything plastered with A&F and the moose logo. The styles are much more mature and up with today’s trends. I ended up walking out with a cozy pullover and this sleeveless sweater (both currently on sale!). The fact that this turtleneck is sleeveless makes it perfect for wearing by itself on warm fall days, plus it can create a layered look without feeling bulky. I’ve already tried it on with jeans and a moto jacket and I love that it tricks you into thinking there’s a full on knit underneath, but I can actually move my arms and don’t feel like the kid in A Christmas Story who can’t put his arms down with all of those winter layers. However since it has still been relatively warm here, I paired the sleeveless sweater with my go-to booties and a burgundy skirt for a fall-ish look. The skirt might look familiar because it was one of my favorite items from MIXTBOX! If you missed the post, you can read more about the fashion box service here. It was so fun to open a box full of goodies tailored to your personal style. The skirt will definitely be a staple in my fall wardrobe!

Have you guys been to Abercrombie recently? Any good finds?
Perfect choice of colors. Loving those boots as well.
Loving these colors, cute skirt & stands out perfectly with the sweater.
This is a beautiful sweater, Jamie! I love the fact, too, that sleeveless sweaters give the look of thick layering without the uncomfortable feeling of being too bulky! Great skirt and love the olive green jacket with this look! xo
