Sneak Peek: Spring Fashion Trends 2017

I know it’s only January, but there are a lot of new arrivals for spring already! Although I love cozy winter clothes, it’s fun to start seeing what spring fashion trends will be big this year. It’s hard not to get excited when I see pastel colors, strappy sandals and pretty sundresses in my favorite stores. When I lived in Seattle I would spend my Christmas gift cards on spring items, but couldn’t wear any of those new purchases until May or June. However, that is not the case here in Vegas. My parents always come visit over Presidents Day weekend in February and by that time we are already wearing T-shirts and having brunch outside. I love those 70-degree days, but it’s also a reminder of how quickly those 110+ degree temps will sneak up on us. Ugh.

So far this year I haven’t noticed any drastically new trends, but some of my favorite styles have gotten a fresh twist. Off the shoulder and cold shoulder items are still really popular and I’ve also seen tops that only have cutouts for only one shoulder (like this sweatshirt). I’m happy that lace-up sandals are back, too, since I basically lived in my Steve Madden pair last year. Spring shoes are so fun and really stand out against the dark boots that currently fill the shelves. Blush tones aren’t going anywhere when it comes to footwear and clothing. Below you’ll see some peach-colored loafers and a pink ruffled dress that are perfect for lightening up your wardrobe. As for accessories, it looks like chokers will still be in and round aviators will be the eyewear of choice. I purchased some Ray-Ban aviators on Black Friday and they are definitely worth the investment! They are lightweight and block out the sun really well, so I’m tempted to add this gold pair to my collection. Below are some of my favorite spring fashion trends as of now, just click the image to shop!
