It’s officially sandal season in Las Vegas! Since summer seems to last forever here (way too long in my opinion), I never feel guilty about buying a couple of new pairs. This year I’m loving the lower block heels because they are comfortable for all-day wear, but still a little dressy. I especially love this Steve Madden pair because of the classic ankle strap style and variety of colors (and being under $80 doesn’t hurt!). I bought the nude pair and have already worn them with white jeans and an olive skirt. You’ll definitely be seeing more of them on the blog! The lace-up trend is also here to stay. Whether it’s gladiator- or ballerina-inspired, this feminine look is very versatile and can instantly dress up jean shorts and a T-shirt! Another style you’ll be seeing a lot of is the espadrille wedge. I’m all about a good designer dupe, so if you’re looking for a copycat version of the Chloe d’Orsay Wedge Sandal ($660) definitely check out the Steve Madden version ($60) or the Marc Fisher platform wedge ($170). This is the “it” shoe of the season as I’ve seen it on almost all of my favorite bloggers. Personally I feel like they would make me way too tall since I’m already 5′ 7″ but they sure are fun for spring and summer!
