Stocking Stuffers For Him and Her

I’m really excited for this holiday season because it will be the first in our new home! With this new milestone, I also want Rob and I to establish some Christmas traditions. We usually travel to be with family on the actual holiday, so this year I plan on having a festive day with just the two of us before we leave. One tradition I’m looking forward to is filling stockings! Our rental house in Las Vegas didn’t have a fireplace or bookshelves to hang stockings, but now we have both! I recently picked up these cable knit and faux fur stockings along with some goodies to put into his. Target has a lot of fun stocking stuffers for men, like a hot sauce challenge and whiskey flight chocolate bars. Travel accessories such as a necktie holder and manicure set are also great for stockings. A manicure set might sound like something no man would ever want, but when we travel Rob seems to always asks if I brought nail clippers or tweezers for a hangnail (which I most likely did not). I think men would also love getting a pair of these no-show socks that actually stay up. My dad and cousin are obsessed with them, so I bought a women’s pair for myself and they work perfectly with my booties and sneakers (click here to shop them)! Seriously one of my best purchases ever! Your heels will not rub the back of your shoes ever again.

As for the women in your life, you can’t go wrong with beauty products. Sheet masks are always fun to try and a nice way to pamper ourselves. There are also so many cute gift sets this time of year, like these liquid lipsticks from Stila. This set includes one of my favorite shades, which is a gorgeous dusty rose color called Patina. Candles also make great stocking stuffers. The Homesick brand is one of my favorites because the packaging if chic and minimalistic, plus the scents are specific to each state. I got the Washington candle for Christmas last year, which smells like soft rain, steeped Earl Grey tea, cedar and patchouli. As a native Seattleite I’m also a big coffee fan and this merlot-infused coffee sounds amazing!

Last but not least: a 6-foot charger! This might sound boring, but having this longer cord to charge your phone is life changing! I gave one to my dad for Father’s Day and he agrees 100%. It’s so nice to be able to reach your phone even if the outlet is somewhat far away. I know this is just enabling my phone and social media addiction, but it’s so convenient!
