TOAY IS THE DAY! We finally move into our house!!!!!!!!! Rob and I have been living out of a suitcase and friends’ houses for two months now, so I am beyond excited to unpack and get organized! I can’t wait to decorate and share photos with you when it’s all put together! There will be a lot of progress pics in my Instagram story though if you want to follow along. It will be so nice to get settled and make Destin feel more like home. Right now it just feels like a prolonged vacation even though we have both been working and trying to establish a routine. We have moved from one hot tourist town to another, so it looks like I won’t be getting to experience “fall” for another couple years (I eventually want to settle down somewhere that has seasons!). Since it’s still warm and humid, this burgundy suede mini skirt is about as fall as it gets. I purchased this versatile piece during the Nordstrom sale because I figured it would be a great transitional piece—or year-round staple. Right now I’ve been wearing it with simple camis and T-shirts, but I think it will look really cute with a chunky sweater and booties when it cools down. The asymmetrical slit is a fun detail, plus it has pockets which is always a bonus! It sold out quickly during the anniversary sale, but it’s now restocked in almost all sizes and also comes in a gorgeous brown color.
