I saw a lot of stars and stripes along with red, white and blue this weekend! Most of our 4th of July celebrations happened on the days leading up to the main event, so when Monday rolled around Rob and I didn’t really have any plans. It was so nice to just wake up and see where the day would take us! We ended up trying a new brewery called Lovelady Brewing where we had a flight of beers and took home a growler of their pineapple sour—so refreshing! Then we had dinner at one of our favorite Vegas restaurants, Carson Kitchen. It was a perfect day date and even though we didn’t go to a fireworks show (since we are old and lame), it still felt very festive! One thing I realized over the weekend is that I have hardly any red in my closet. I only have my plaid flannel shirt and a striped tank top that I’d worn the day before, so I settled for stripes and a crisp white skirt. I think it still looked patriotic, though! Hope everyone is enjoying a short work week!

I just got a similar skirt from Loft. I can’t wait to wear it. I love how you paired that skirt with the striped top!
