As a photographer in Destin, I love taking traditional photos of families and couples on the beach, but I also enjoy coming up with more creative concepts. Our good friends are moving to Oregon soon, so I wanted to send them off with photos to remember their time in Destin. They love surfing and being out on the water, so I thought a surfboard session would be a fun and natural way to capture them. We took their pontoon boat over to the jetties and snapped some shots with the water, dunes, rocks and bridge in the background. The water was gorgeous and surprisngly smooth that afternoon (would you believe we had severe thunderstorms and a tornado watch earlier in the day?!).
