Not sure where to find the best acai bowls in Destin? I’ve got you covered! There are quite a few spots from Fort Walton Beach to 30A where you can enjoy this delicious and nutritious treat. Whether you prefer a classic bowl with simple toppings or want a unique twist (think activated charcoal or coconut whipped cream), an acai bowl is a great way to cool down after a day at the beach!
Formula Fresh (pictured above) is located in the Destin Commons and has tasty acai bowls in addition to smoothies, juices, toast, energy bites and other healthy snacks. Some of my favorite bowls include Be Yummy, Detox Bowl, The Shorty (topped with housemade coconut whipped cream!) and Beach Bowl. Their bowls have the perfect consistency and fresh, delicious toppings.
East Pass Coffee Co. is my favorite local coffee shop and they have amazing acai bowls, too. This cute family-owned establishment serves bowls that are almost too pretty to eat! They have three standard bowls on their menu with additional toppings available if you want to customize it. Make sure to snap a pic for Instagram!
Kwench Juice Cafe serves a variety of smoothies, juices and acai bowls. The bowls are made with an acai sorbet blend and topped with fresh fruit, granola, peanut butter, local honey and whatever else you’d like! In addition to their signature menu items you can also create a custom bowl.
Sunset Bowls is a food truck located in Fort Walton Beach. The location is permanent (rather than moving around town) and also features Coffee Ave, Rive Cafe and outdoor/indoor seating. Grab a refreshing bowl or smoothie and enjoy the laidback atmosphere. Definitely a good spot for some Instagram pics!
There are also a handful of places to get an acai bowl as you make your way towards 30A:
- Clean Juice in Miramar Beach
- Playa Bowls in Rosemary Beach
- The Green Stream in Seaside
- Raw & Juicy in Alys Beach
- Prema Organic Cafe in Seagrove Beach
