Wow, Monday already?! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! On Saturday Rob and I didn’t have any plans, so I was in the mood to do something fun and spontaneous. The problem is that when I’m in these moods I can never think of anything to do. It’s like finding a dress when you actually need one. I see tons of cute dresses when I don’t have an occasion coming up, but as soon as I actually need to find a dress there’s nothing! After throwing out and turning down a bunch of ideas we decided to get a beer at one of our favorite breweries and then try a new place to eat. We stumbled upon Bin 702 in Container Park where I saw a Brie grilled cheese on the menu and was instantly sold. With apples, honey, brie and almonds inside, it did not disappoint. It turned out to be a really fun, unplanned day! For a casual weekend outing I usually put on jeans and a white T-shirt, but add some fun accessories. I recently ordered this silk bandana from Madewell and I’m obsessed! The olive color goes with everything and you can style it so many different ways. It’s light enough that you can wear it in the spring/summer, too. This belt was another Madewell purchase and I think you’ll be seeing a lot of it on the blog! It’s really versatile and creates a put together look when you partially tuck your T-shirt in. Sunglasses are also a must-have accessory here in Vegas since it’s always so bright. I’m a fan of classic aviators since they give off a casual, relaxed vibe while still staying stylish. And last, but not least: a messy bun!
