Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a fun mommy and me Valentine’s Day cookie decorating class hosted by Sarah from Coastal Cookies. It took place at a gorgeous venue in Grayton Beach called The GraytRoom, which is a studio space that is perfect for hosting intimate social gatherings, creative workshops, meet ups and photography. The light, airy location is right up my alley and I jumped at the chance to take some shots there! Plus this festive balloon backdrop that Mingle provided was perfect for taking some mother-daughter photos (and how cute are those XO marquee lights from Alpha Lit?!).
Sarah creates amazing custom cookies for a variety of occasions and showed the class some of her “wet on wet” decorating techniques. She makes them look simple, but it takes a lot of practice to get them to look as good as hers! Everyone did a great job though and had fun making (and eating) their masterpieces. Below are some photos I took at the event and if you’d like some baking and decorating tips from Sarah, check out this post!
