Okay we didn’t actually take a trip to Venice, but we did enjoy an afternoon at The Venetian here in Las Vegas! Last weekend I was invited to attend a lunch at Mercato Della Pescheria with some other Vegas foodies and everything was amazing! It’s an Italian restaurant so there was a lot of pasta and seafood—the scallops were my favorite! And of course we had dessert, too. The tableside tiramisu was delicious and it was fun to see them make the dish right in front of you. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (treatsandtrends) you saw my behind the scenes videos, it’s pretty comical seeing everyone trying to get the perfect shot. It’s nice to see that I’m not the only one who stands on chairs or looks for the best lighting while in a restaurant lol. Since we had four courses of food to work off Rob and I decided to walk around the hotel and casino before heading home. There aren’t many places in Vegas where you get to see turquoise water (even if it is just a small, manmade canal), so I love the change of scenery. For our casual afternoon on the Strip I wore some distressed jeans, simple black cami from Tobi and blush moto jacket. I picked up these “tomboy” jeans recently for only $58 and I would have thought they were more expensive based on the fit and quality. Definitely go down a size or two if you want them to be somewhat snug. To dress them up a little bit I accessorized with some Chanel-lookalikes: a quilted purse and cap-toe shoes.
