The Best Wedding Guest Dresses Under $100

Wedding season is officially upon us! We will be traveling to Connecticut for a wedding this May, so I’ve been on the lookout for something cute to wear. Most of the dresses in my closet are either casual sundresses or wintery formal dresses, so some shopping was necessary! I purchased this lace midi dress online from Nordstrom yesterday and I’m crossing my fingers that it will fit. Midi dresses are great for weddings because they aren’t as fancy as floor-length dresses, but are much more conservative than a mini dress. You don’t want to be too exposed around the couples’ grandparents and family members! For this reason I also like to stick with a higher neckline—leave those plunging V-necks for the bachelorette party. And this should be obvious, but do not wear white! For spring and summer weddings I am drawn towards light blues, various shades of pink and pretty floral prints. Black can also be a good choice, but it can get pretty hot if you’re at an outdoor wedding. It’s important to keep the venue in mind when picking out what to wear. If the wedding is at a fancy church, definitely dress up more than you would for a more rustic location. I think this palm print midi dress would be perfect for a desert or beach wedding with the breezy style and ruffled cold shoulders. Below are some more wedding guest dresses that I came across and all of them are under $100! Just click the item for more details.
