Whether you want to call it burgundy, merlot or oxblood, I am always drawn to this rich red hue. We don’t have a Madewell store here in Vegas, so I was in heaven when I visited Seattle! Although I like shopping online, I prefer trying things on and seeing them in person before making the purchase. This lace number immediately caught my eye because of the color and style—I love the sheer sleeves and tailored waist. For a festive holiday party look I paired it with black tights and these Vince Camuto booties that I just bought at Nordstrom (I’m obsessed and want to wear them every day!). Then I topped it off with a statement necklace and quilted, chain-strap purse to dress it up some more. I’m excited to play around with this burgundy lace dress because it’s so versatile. I think I’ll try wearing it with cognac boots and an army-green jacket next!
