What started as three friends serving coffee out of a small trailer circa 2017 has turned into Destin’s go-to all day cafe. East Pass Coffee Co. opened a storefront in 2020 and then expanded to a beautiful, larger space in January 2024. Situated in the heart of old Destin, this locally owned eatery serves traditional breakfast and lunch items with a creative twist in addition to craft coffee, beer and wine. Some of my favorite menu items are the breakfast sandwich, burrata toast, double smash burger and acai bowls (although you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!). As for coffee, I’m a fan of the Coco for Mocha and cold brew. You can enjoy year-round staples and seasonal specials.
The community centered cafe is a favorite among locals and visitors. You’ll find Destin entrepreneurs working on their laptops, families enjoying a bite to eat in between sporting events, and vacationers fueling up for a day at the beach. With a plethora of outdoor seating, dogs are more than welcome! It’s also a kid-friendly spot and they even supply wipes and extra diapers in the restrooms (as a mom of two littles I really appreciate this thoughtful detail!). I’m excited to try more menu items and work on editing photos in this welcoming space!
