We all know how it goes. You need one thing from Target, you basically black out and then you end up with $100 worth of random items that you didn’t know you needed (but obviously do!). These lace-up sandals were the result of one of those dangerous Target trips. However, I like to think that they actually saved me money and here’s why: one of my favorite bloggers, Olivia from LivvyLand, has a pair of brown lace-up Steve Madden sandals that I’d been coveting for weeks. When I finally tried them on at Nordstrom I was disappointed that the strap over the toes was too loose on my foot, so I had to pass on them. The next day I went to Target for a Mother’s Day card. Did I find the perfect card? Nope. But I did find these knockoff shoes and they fit perfectly! Couldn’t beat the price either—$27.99 instead of $80?! Yes, please! The heel is just the right height, they fit snuggly so that your foot won’t slide around and they are a great shade of cognac brown. And speaking of good deals, the floral sundress that I paired these lace-up sandals with is only $40! It’s comfy, lightweight and has the cutest low back! I also like how it ties at the shoulders (it’s no secret that I’m obsessed with bows!). Basically this whole outfit (except for the sunglasses and watch) is under $100 since the bag was also from Target, and on sale nonetheless!
