When my husband and I moved to Destin, Florida in 2017, we became close friends with our neighbors who had a 12-year-old son. Over the years Rob sometimes helped him with math homework, I picked him up from school every now and then, and we had many dinners together. Somehow six years passed and he has now graduated from high school! Time seriously does fly! I was so honored to take his senior pictures at a place that is very special to him — the Destin jetties. As an avid fisher who worked on a charter boat, he wanted to keep things casual and showcase his passion. One of the best parts about taking senior pictures is being able to capture the student’s interests and personality. Props play a big part in this, so he brought all of his fishing equipment and wore what he naturally would to cast a line in the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village.” Here are a few photos from this senior session in Destin.
