Even though we live by the beach and have palm trees in our backyard, Destin does a great job of getting you in the holiday spirit. All of the hotels, shopping centers and restaurants are decked out in Christmas decor. Plus there are a lot of seasonal activities, like Christmas tree lightings and Santa’s arrival. Last weekend we went to a boat parade where a ton of fishing boats covered in colorful lights made their way up and down the harbor. We don’t have any holiday parties on our calendar this year, but I’ll be ready with this little black dress if one pops up! I love the bow sleeves on this shift dress from Banana Republic and you can easily dress it up or down. For a festive look I paired it with a statement necklace and heels, but it would also look cute with brown booties and a vest!
