Happy first day of summer! It sure feels like it here in Florida. I’m already over this 90-degree weather. At least it’s Friday Jr. and we can go to the beach this weekend! On these hot, humid days I usually wear either a sundress or shorts with a comfy cami. I picked up this linen tank when we stopped at Nordstrom in Atlanta recently. Whenever we are in a big city I try to do some shopping since we don’t have one and looking online just isn’t as fun. It’s lightweight, comes in four colors and is super versatile. Plus the buttons are a fun detail! For a casual look while exploring Savannah, I paired it with high-waist distressed denim shorts. This pair is my absolute FAVORITE (I talk all about why I love them in this post). You’ll be seeing them on me a lot this summer!
While we were in Savannah we stayed at The Kimpton Brice Hotel, which was so cute. I mean how adorable are these chairs in the courtyard?! There was also a stylish restaurant attached to the hotel with amazing food and rustic-chic decor, which you know I love! While we were in Savannah we shopped along Broughton Street, had a delicious dinner at The Olde Pink House and took a day trip to Hilton Head Island. Basically we spent the entire two days eating a lot of southern food and walking around town to see the tourist sites and charming, historical (and supposedly haunted) buildings. That balances out, right? ;)
