I’ve enjoyed rooting for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl the last two years, but it looks like I’ll be cheering on my husband’s team (the Broncos) this year. Just because I won’t be wearing my Wilson jersey and serving skittles, doesn’t mean I’m not excited for the big game this weekend. My favorite part is the food! Last year I made these bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers and this year I wanted to test out another recipe. I’m obsessed with soft pretzels, pretzel buns, etc., so I though it would be fun to switch up the traditional pigs in a blanket. I made my own pretzel dough using this recipe and wrapped it around Lit’l Smokies for a salty, savory treat. I’m still trying to perfect my pretzels, because they end up kind of lumpy instead of perfectly smooth. I think this has to do with kneading the dough, so if you have any tips I’d love to hear! Even if they didn’t all look picture perfect, they sure did taste delicious!
Here are some more football party recipes:
Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers
Rosemary, Garlic and Truffle Popcorn
Bourbon Brown Sugar Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Brie and Rosemary Soft Pretzels

Tomatillo Avocado Salsa
These look so yummy! We are also planning on having a superbowl party and we are also seahawks fans and know the feeling!!

These little treats look amazing, Jamie! You did such a great job. I’m sure the pretzel makes these even more delicious. Thanks for sharing!
