It never feels like fall here in Vegas except at a little oasis called Gilcrease Orchard. We visit this local farm throughout the year to pick fresh produce, but October is my favorite time of year to go. There is a wide variety of pumpkins that you get to pick straight from the vine, which is much more festive than grabbing one at the grocery store. We also love their apple cider, which they make from their own apples and doesn’t have any added sugar, corn syrup or preservatives—it’s straight up pressed gala apples. And what goes better with apple cider than apple cider doughnuts?! Nothing. These tasty treats are made right in front of you, so they are warm and topped with a delicious dollop of frosting. It was so fun to finally get a taste of fall :)
Oh my goodness, you’ve got me craving a trip to the pumpkin patch!

I love pumpkin picking, and getting to pick them from the vine is the best! Those apple cider donuts look delicious. Think I can get one over here for breakfast?!
